I see him as a pretty interesting prospect who can become very useful as a hybrid 4/5, especially considering the shooting ability he has flashed at times this season. He's clearly athletic and physical enough to be useful as a switchable, small ball 5 if his basketball IQ and competitive drive are good/consistent enough. I don't think he'll ever be a good starter, but I can see him being developed to a point in the future where you feel good about him being the first big off of the bench.
Kind of a slightly different Kleber kind of thing. I don't know if he'll be as good as Kleber, obviously, and I definitely don't think he's ready now to succeed in the playoffs.
You disagree?
I do. I also feel he has trended downhill since he has been here. I don't view him as a shooter - and he hasn't been for the most part in his career. I view him as a developmental player - borderline G-League - who has a roster spot because the Mavs have the thinnest frontcourt in the league. I actually preferred Moses Brown's potential over Chriss'. Albeit, Chriss does have a bit more versatility in his game.
I think that I agree with what has been said earlier that Mavs personnel evaluations are definitely developing some archetypes. Chriss seems to fit into this better than Brown did. But yeah, I view him as just a dude. He's been around for 6 seasons now. He is on the border of running out of "potential".

Chriss Is well traveled for a reason. He's no more than your 2nd or 3rd center on the depth chart.

Fair enough, thanks for the thoughts!

Well, that's what I think he could be, yeah. @"Mavsfan12" isn't really even giving him that, which is interesting. Fair, for sure. I definitely don't think he's even to 2nd center status yet for a good team, but I was thinking (hoping?) he could still reach that level.

Embiid had a 40 pt triple double. He's been keeping Philly near the top of the East by himself.

Down 3, LeBron gets fouled shooting a 3, and misses the first, makes the 2nd then had to intentionally miss the 3rd, and the Lakers got the offensive board and lost the game. Love to see it.

The downside is that Skip Bayless is a very happy man.

I don't know why Dragic would go to the Lakers. I understand it being the most popular franchise, but I would stay away from them. If I was him, Milwaukee would be #1 followed by Golden State.
