Why is this shocking?
Kidd's offense is all about Individual plays for Luka and Kyrie, and everything stems from there.
He has plays here and there, but the root of the O would always be Kyrie and Luka getting theirs and countering what happens if the stars are getting too much attention.
When those two are out, he has nothing to work with.
As for the D? Kidd still gets the blame. He seems like he isn't preparing the team's D against a particular opponent. He just relies on a system in place and does not customize it per opponent.
Just a lazy coach.

The offense was going to be bad, but I am surprised how bad it is. Outside of a hot streak by Grimes a few games ago, there isn't anything. I am about done with the PJ and other isolations. Can't we do better? We had hoped Lively may eventually be our third best player at some point soon, but it appears his role doesn't change even with Kyrie and Luka out. He is shoot 11..which is an improvement but no focus on getting him the ball. I am sorry too, but if he catches the ball outside and his defenders drops back into the lane, Lively needs to force the issue there. Instead of doing a contested handoff.
The real concern is the defense though. We had most of our good defenders last night and still couldn't stop a injury depleted Grizzles team. What is going on with the defense?

Yes! there needs to a system that isn't to allow PJ, Klay, Dinwiddie just to get their own shots. PJ can do it a little, but over time it is a losing battle imo if you are asking him to try to create for himself.

We went from 8-2 we can win anything to a 1-6 fire everyone streak. Sigh
