Man AD has been bad.
Flagg draws SGA's 3rd. He can't find his shot but he's really found a way to generate points regardless. It's crazy he's only 18.

DLo with just too many mistakes to be in this game.

AD is not right!
What a terrible offensive half from Davis. Comical Nico thought he could be a number 1 option. Just doesn’t have it in him. Much better as a number two with a dominant number 1. Any number 1 would not half a half like that. Invisible. Nembhard was looking for him too. He was perfectly fine being invisible out there.

Yeah I think ideally DLO, Martin and Powell being replaced with better players will look better. DLO and Powell can play well…not sure Martin can, but I think you would want those minutes used with other players on most nights.

Loved cooper getting to the lane while not being in a good flow on offense. Sometimes you need to force things. I also didn’t understand Haslem saying OKC was attacking Flagg on defense. He gave up some baskets but didn’t think he was a weak point.

The Thunder should be banned from the league. They've got key players out, and it doesn't seem to matter, as they continue to beatdown teams. I'm still shocked that Portland gave them they're only loss.

AD doesn’t play back to backs so maybe he took tonight off

Looks like AD has given up.

I love this Amazon announcer. Trying to be like Mark Jones with his cadence.
Calling Klay = Powell. B-Will Hardy. Calling Hardy = Harden.

Well this is a beatdown. Not really surprising. Still a tad disappointing how far the gap between both teams are. Even guys who won’t be in their rotation when they are healthy are kicking the Mavs butts.

AD showing LeBron some love by scoring under 10.

I want to see Martin drive or shoot until he makes one.

Kidd is making the starters practice against the OKC subs just to figure out how to play against this system. We need to figure out how to defend this we are going to score every time offense. OKC has an unfair amount of talent. Every one of them seems to play perfectly and make a ridiculous amount of shots.

Street clothes as a leader. What a game.
Not much to say but that was an impressive beat down by OKC. It was a team they should beat but the Mavs were confident going into that game and you could just see OKC defense tightening around the Mavs necks as the game went on. Scary they are still the best team in the league with good players out. Scary that they are set up to get really good talent added over the next few years. I just have no idea how they leave this era with less than 3 titles. Probably more.
I want to hate them. The Shai foul thing is brutal but for the most part I think they are likable guys and don’t rub your faces in it. Just tough to really like them when they are running all over you every game.

The Thunder are pretty boring to watch as far as great teams go. Don’t have a dude who nails a ton of 3’s, don’t have guys doing crazy dunks, play at a slower pace and don’t score many fast break points. They do however have a crazy deep roster and play great team defense.

When is this teams free throw shooting going to become a priority. They missed 7 FT's. Hurts even more when you play a team that has a guy who makes 11 FT's and gets calls automatically every time he wants one.
AD looked like he was totally washed out as if he spent the last night drinking and had a hangover. Is he that badly out of shape? We got outrebounded by a lot. We should have led that statistic and Cisse should be in there ahead of Powell. I would say Hardy leading the team in scoring is a good sign that we may have a guy that we can count on to score when Klay goes ice cold. Might he be ready to break out. 23 points against a team like OKC shows something, does it not? He is certainly not afraid to shoot the ball and maybe that is what we need because if he is hot then the other team has to dedicate defensive resources to stop him and the allows Flag and AD to get open so Ryan can feed them more and certainly as we get PJ back he can fix our offense. Max is a good guy as well but he plays like a back up he is way too afraid to shoot and I like guys that concentrate on giving you scoring playing the 2. Hardy was only 10 points off of SGA's game total and was probably as potent a scorer on a per minute basis. Nembhard continues to show he is ready for prime time but BWill had more assists and D Lo scored more points. Kyrie, PJ, Gafford, and Lively out really hurts our chances against a team like OKC. That much talent not playing makes the team extremely weak and just kills us. If AD plays an average game and we shoot our free throws better and rebound better this is a different game. If SGA does not get gifted free throws on 12 foul shots we have one less thing to kill our chances. We started off so great this game and then slacked off. Maybe Hardy is about ready to heat up and give us a scoring option we can use. Cooper needs to focus on improving his 3 point % it is crap and I understand he is a rookie but he hit 40% from 3 in college and he needs to get that shot falling. Hardy out there hitting 3's means the other team is having to respect the 3 point line and that opens the game up around the rim. We need a more threatening 3 point game to open things up for AD and Cooper inside. Why did they even suite up Caleb he is not that great. Powell played way too much tonight. Add in PJ's 16 points and defense and we might have won tonight. Gafford in there would add to that possibility and give Nemby another few assists feeding him the ball. |
