This kid was a stud in college and by many accounts would be the #1 overall pick in a normal draft class.  He's expected to move pretty quickly through the minors (like Josh Jung if he wasn't derailed by injury) and could be a contributor sooner rather than later on this team that's looking to be a real contender for many years to come.
