I am assuming that Cuban lured Nico to this position by offering him GMing power. Will be surprised if he isn't the main voice for "GM" type decisions.

Yeah, I would imagine he would have a very loud voice in decisions. Just reading about him it appears he is a basketball lifer and has been evaluating talent for a long time, so I am sure he wanted a role where he can impact the team on the court.
Look, I wanted new voices into the team. Nico and Kidd are new. Time will tell, but I can't complain as my big thing was not staying status quo.

I think Nico being Fin's boss is really good. It means there is a HUGE change as close to the "top" as you can get in DAL.
