I doubt it. Talent wise, it's fine. It's just absolutely stupid on the Mavs part. They should have gotten a lot more out of the Lakers or another team.

This is the only thing that makes sense but even then the haul is terrible. Unless the Adelsons want Luka with the Lakers for some reason.

No, I'm not defending it. They should have got more back. But I believe they got tired of watching him sitting on the bench with another injury due to his disdain for his conditioning and watching his weight. I also believe they weren't about to pay him the Super Max due to him not being serious about it either.
