I am on a minute to minute love hate fest with KP. I am proud of how he is playing offensively but the defensive effort still seems to be an issue.

Good decision by Luka to get that ball down low to KP. KP gets to the line. RC, the key now is to just keep scoring, and they don't have to be three pointers.

KP is good if the opponent has center on him. He gets killed by smaller players guarding him as he can't exploit his height advantage

Yeah I asked during the last game the last time people enjoyed the game all the way through and I had a tough time answering myself, that I did enjoy this game start to finish.
The defense is still terrible though and the moment the shots stop falling and/or we play better teams it will spell trouble.

Seriously. He looked really good on offense. Not only because he made his jumpshots. He had some really nice drives/cuts. Can only hope that todays games boosts his confidence.

It's not "fool's good" - it's just playing hard enough to beat teams we need to be able to beat if we want to make the playoffs.

Entertaining game on offense. It's difficult to lose if you are shooting 55 % from three on high volume. It is interesting how Pels have three players who are allegedly excellent defenders (Ball, Bledsoe, Adams) in the starting unit, yet their team defense is absolutely horrible.
Mavs should put away that defensive MVP belt until they limit someone to less than, let's be generous, 110 points. Especially first half was absolutely horrible. Again no communication, which resulted in those easy transition dunks. How many stupid and-1 fouls can you make... KP is non existent on defense - the difference is visible from moon when WCS is on the floor (second half version of him) or when KP is. Was Maxi even playing tonight? Didn't see him. I guess he is still recovering from Covid.

Well the way he plays defense, he´ll have to score that many points each night for us to have any chance to win a game. And we ain´t playing the Pelicans, Hawks and Wolves every week.
We are still trash protecting the rim and the better teams won´t allow us to shoot 50+% from three to make up for that travesty.

Right here. Amazing game on offense, and punishing players like Adams is what he does best. Played him completely off the floor.
Defensively, not great, but not quite as bad as he has been recently, either. But, NO isn’t much of a pick and roll team, either.
Love seeing him play well while he’s here. Would still trade him in an instant.
