Decided to put all of the Chicago Bull rumors in a dedicated thread given that they are likely to blow it up this season.

From what we know so far:

Quote:Fischer:
LaVine and his representation hold several preferred landing spots, such as the Los Angeles Lakers, Miami Heat and Philadelphia 76ers, league sources told Yahoo Sports, and each team has registered some level of interest in the Bulls guard. LaVine also has an eye on joining the San Antonio Spurs, sources said, in order to pair with rookie sensation Victor Wembanyama and reunite with head coach Gregg Popovich, who oversaw the 2020 Team USA outfit that LaVine helped win a gold medal in Tokyo. There are several other contending situations LaVine would welcome joining, sources said, one being Sacramento. The Kings signed LaVine to an offer sheet during his restricted free agency in 2018, albeit before this present front office regime took the reins in Northern California.

Kings and Spurs are wildcards I did not expect to join the Lavine sweepstakes.

Further down Fischer also mentions Caruso's supposed pricetag:

Quote:The Bulls have already required multiple first-round picks for the 29-year-old veteran when opposing teams have asked about Caruso’s availability. If his number of suitors were to indeed match the breadth of teams that checked with Portland about landing Jrue Holiday this fall, it’s not unreasonable to expect Caruso to fetch the Bulls a similar price point of draft capital, as Holiday netted the Blazers both a 2024 and 2029 first-round pick.

Shams: Raptors are expected to have some level of interest in Lavine.

[K.C. Johnson] "I think some changes are coming to this roster, I don't think it's going to be Alex Caruso. I think Patrick Williams could be in play. I think DeMar DeRozan could be in play"

[K.C. Johnson] Seeing Alex Caruso speculation almost daily, now tied to Bulls potentially having “fire sale” if LaVine is dealt. FWIW, Bulls have rebuffed all Caruso overtures in past and, at least as of now, I’ve heard nothing to indicate they have interest in dealing him.
Drummond, please

The Miami Heat are showing no interest in Zach LaVine, per @flasportsbuzz
Patrick Williams is an intriguing trade target. The cost would need to be low enough

Drummond obviously. Maybe in buyout?

I could see a way Vucevic could fit. Sort of a bench scoring role that THJ has. But with more rebounding.

Caruso will be too expensive

Derozan doesn’t really fit

I’m only interested in the Bulls players if we can get a decent deal. Teams have reported Chicago being delusional in their asking prices so I’m not holding my breath
As already stated, Vucevic is a Duffy client. Does that help his chances coming to the Mavs if the Bulls blow it up?

@KCJHoop
DeRozan: "I can’t fake it. I’m beyond frustrated. Everybody in this locker room is frustrated. It’s from a good place of being a competitor and wanting to figure it out that badly. Put a couple wins together. I really truly believe that can shift everything for us."
NBACentral (@TheDunkCentral)
The Chicago Bulls’ main priority is to trade Zach LaVine before everyone else, per @KCJHoop

“LaVine is the main organizational focal point for now. In fact, league sources said that, at least for now, Karnišovas is responding to inquiries on other players by saying he wants to see what the roster looks like post-LaVine trade first.”
Caruso for thj.
[Charania] The LA Lakers and the Philadelphia 76ers are expected suitors for Zach LaVine. DeMar DeRozan's preferred trade destinations are the New York Knicks or Miami Heat. All trade calls to trade for Alex Caruso have been shut down.
