I fear if this incredibly tough matchup goes south, Kidd is gonna say "See I told you so."

"It was all about Reggie Bullock being the glue!"
Look how much faster they’re playing already.
Wood starting the 2nd half. Must have hurt Kidd so much to make that decision

Worse than a kick in the nuts.... a kick in his ego.
Ask me if I'm going to call out a certain poster if Wood solo big minutes propel us to victory tonight.
That was a block!

DFS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
that was a GodKing moment!
Interesting, Wood on Giannis and Luka on Brooks.
Would love to know if DFS playing Giannis close on the perimeter is part of the game plan or just him making mistake after mistake.
Giannis is just waiting for him to step out. Perfect timing on every single drive. Catches DFS on the wrong foot and easily blows by him.
Wood at the 5 is so the way.

I can’t believe anyone thinks he’s a forward. Playing him there just makes all of his deficiencies worse, imo. He needs a better understanding of the system (being generous) to be an effective defender at EITHER position, but at least at the 5 he has an athletic advantage.

Well the "smartest coach in the room" that was hired by the "smartest man in the room" doesn't think it is that obvious. Smile

I think it’s mostly in the game plan. I think they are trying to push him in a certain direction.

Regardless, this is not the game to call DFS out for not playing hard, because he is working out there, imo.
LOL, I was waiting for the THJ chuck, once he got one in.
Man, 2 lazy passes in a row.
RE: Team Energy & Mood

@"KillerLeft", a wild guess, but it could hurt team morale when they know the coaching staff isn't putting them in the best position to succeed, it is deflating. They look SO MUCH more alive with Wood in the starting lineup, like they believe this is what should have been happening....the players know. They know who is best. They practice against them all the time.
Luka sure picked a weird time to start playing like ass.
LOVE DB coming in with Maxi.

Not questioning his effort. More about the gameplan against Giannis. Giannis is unstoppable but maybe giving him a little bit more space and daring him to shoot would make it easier to stay in front of him. We have seen some extrem versions of this in the past. With guys like Simmons or Horford camping in the paint. I don´t think that is an option for a smaller player like DFS. And it also allows Giannis to attack at full speed.

Anyway. Maybe not the right place for a deep how to defend Giannis conversation.
