76ers needed another body that they can throw under the bus. Harden is the perfect option for that role. Doc and Joel escaping criticism once again if things aren´t working out. Cannot wait for the excuses.
I think the move is a win-win. Philly got the guy they wanted and Brooklyn got the most out of the guy that was leaving anyway.

And you might be absolutely right about that.
Maybe Simmons is a head case who'll never play well again.
Maybe Harden gives up on the third team in three years and is just over the hill.
Everyone who is blaming Morey tell me what was he supposed to do?
You are never going to get fair value for a young stud who flat out refuses to play and is most likely using mental health as an excuse to continue getting paid while he doesn’t suit up.
The league has to do something about this in the next CBA.
Nets won the trade. When they get KD and Harris back, to add to Kyrie (if he gets vaxxed) Curry, Simmons, Drummond, Mills, and the rest, they could be very scary.

Brooklyn has a better future outlook but if we're operating with the hand Morey was dealt, I think he did fantastic.
No one thought they could get a top 25 player for Simmons. They are now one of 5 teams that is a legit title contender.
