That was the Jazz first win at home this year. It would have to happen tonight.

Positive for some better day soon. Kleber returns. Grimes and Marshal coming around. Sadly Hardy is not so much.

Closer to last than 6th in the West. Virtually same record as Pistons, Nets and Blazers. Not exactly great. If Luka plays like this for another month, we are at best going to the play-in. I still don´t see it with Thompson. I can´t point out to any 32+ year old acquistion in the last 5-6 years that  worked out.

Klay will help some nights, but he won't be the savior that some think he'll be.

The worst part is he immediately went to blame someone else Smile

Jazz shoot 50 percent from field and still get 16 offensive rebounds. Continue to be a killer. A lot of mavs watching or very slow to react to the balls

I hope I'm wrong, but Luka is starting to give me James Harden vibes.

It's weird to me that Dallas has all this size, and they're poor defensive rebounders. Lively and Gafford need to rebound better. In fact, Luka is their best rebounder.

I can't believe the Mavs lost this one.

Each game a different thing. Either they come out too flat. Or they don't rebound the ball. They fall asleep defensively. They can't make open shots. Each game they have something they are deficient in.

It feels like this team doesn't know anything on what to do and how to do it. You have Naji throwing passes to Gafford's back. Grimes walking away from a dude bringing up the ball. Luka literally falling asleep on defense.

Yet another close game where Luka completely loses it for the Mavs in the final minute. Doesn't box out at all, then on the final possession, face guards the CORNER(?) of all places, losing track of where the ball is AND his man at the same time, giving up literally a wide open dunk.

This is probably the most disastrous start to the season for the Mavs. And I'm right now blaming 60% of it on Kidd, 30% of it on Luka, and 10% a mishmash of everyone else.

Luka Dončić takes the blame for the defensive breakdown that led to John Collins' go-ahead dunk: "It was a misunderstanding. I thought I was going to go hit, and Grimes thought he was going to go hit. And it was a lob, so we misunderstood the bench. That's on me."

Luka Dončić on what's caused the Mavericks' fourth consecutive single-possession loss: "If I would know, we wouldn't be, right? So I wouldn't know."

Luka Doncic said that not being able to grab a defensive rebound is a big reason for their losses.

It's actually making me so mad watching this team lazily play. I feel like each guy is playing for themselves. No cohesion whatsoever.

Falls on the coach. Pretty embarrassing honestly.

Kidd deserves to be fired right now. That won't happen, but that's what should happen.

Seems this team is really missing a spark plug off the bench....a Barea or NVE type of guy.

I'm more pissed off than Ainge is, lol.  Dodgy

The Jazz need to trade Clarkson, Collins and maybe even Sexton. They're messing up the tank. Y'all want any of them?

we lost four straight games by a total of no more than 10 points and it would've been 2-2 or 3-1 easily with better coaching and a bit of luck. letting djj walk has turned out to be a blunder. not saying Klay and naji are not good players, they're probably even better players than djj overall, but the absence of a quick defender exposes luka's weakness in D. Grimes may fill that role hopefully, but it's unsure if Klay would fit or be satisfied with the sixth man role tbh.

Marshall has been very good at times, but I still think they miss DJJ, especially the on the ball and weak side help D. I doubt he would be ball watching on that crucial play to Collins for the game winning dunk.
