AROUND the NBA:

KAT as Goofy though is killing me…

Adam Silver really has his pulse on the fans

Wemby is a force. 42 pts, 18 rebs, but just 4 blks after getting 10 earlier this week, in a loss at MSG. When they put a team around him, he's going to be the face of the NBA.

Detroit hands the Kings their 5 straight loss
on a 4 pt play at the buzzer by Jaden Ivey.
it was Detroit's 14th win as many as they won all last year.

I guess that loss last night after being up 19pts in the 3rd qtr, did the trick.

The Kings are a train wreck. After a few solid seasons too. It just appears a matter of time before major changes happen.

I was critical of the spurs offseason (I am very wrong on that) but did like them picking up Kings pick. That has a chance to be excellent. Especially if they decide to trade their core guys. The organization is a mess so I would t bet on them maki g right decisions.

So the kings got DeRozan, the spurs got a future Kings first and a solid asset in Barnes. The Bulls got what? I swear their front office took the online Cuban class on how to be allergic to future draft picks.

Suns 6-13 after their hot start. Warriors 3-12 after their hot start. If the Spurs want the play-in, then one of them is in legit trouble.

Knicks need 55 pts by Brunson, and 30 pts and 14 rebs from KAT, to turn back
the Wizards in OT, 136-132. Knicks have won 7 straight.

Wow Thunder have won 10 straight (The Bucks tournament loss doesn't count as an official game). I believe all of those wins are without Chet (their third or second best player). No one is beating them for the number 1 seed in the West. They are just a machine right now.

I watched that game.   I really hoped Dallas would do the same thing against Portland.  They just got down too far.   The young Wizards team just couldn't make the final play to win the game.    Credit to the Knicks, but that was a classic young team who doesn't know how to win yet.    I doubt Wizards fans are too upset though.

And they thumped Memphis tonight 130-106 although Morant and Edey were out, but they were missing Caruso and Holmgren. Memphis has been rolling too as they are the 2 seed. SGA with another 35 pt game. OKC is a great defensive team which helps fuel their offense. They blocked 9 shots tonight.

Rockers and Heat had a fight tonight with several ejections. Rockets play Mavs next. Let’s see if they have any suspensions.

I freaking love Amen Thompson.  He threw Herro to the ground like a rag doll.  Herro learned what happens when you lay hands on a man, lol

Piston's guard Jaden Ivey sustained a broken fibula in last night's win over Orlando
likely ending his season. that's too bad, he showed great improvement.
