Klay is talking to fans about how he misses Luka..

That's so sad. No snark.

Tongue in cheek. But will I be wrong?!

Why was Nembhard just subbed in and out after only a minute and both times for BW? Just to give him a breather?

I've been a long-time fan of Klay's...going back to his Warriors days. I followed him to the Mavs and now also root for the Mavs. Klay has been lousy so far this season. I hope things work out for him and I hope the Mavs do better moving forward.

It's the Mavs vs CJ McCollum. Dude has 23 pts and the only one in double figures on his team.

K. George 1 of 3 from 3 helps.

Never suggested he was, my dude.

Would be nice if Cooper gets free throws on those no calls later in this season or his career.

McCollum too old to be trying to carry them in the 4th quarter but he knows he can do whatever he wants on the Wizards team. I'm smiling every time he tries to drive and do something...it's going to result in a miss or turnover

Naji or BWill for the Dirkie. +24 and 5 steals for BWill is tough!

Tongue in cheek?? No Klay meant more Naji. Hmm.

Fair enough.  Maybe I over-responded to the comment.

Yeah, I was just referring to the trade talk rumor from today.

I'm one of Thompson's defenders around here. I LIKE having champions in the locker room, whether they're playing at their peak level or not.

I also kind of feel like it's in Thompson's interest to get out of here ASAP. He's a player who'll do much better in a GOOD offensive system, I think.

First live game I have seen in about two years.  I was looking for Nico.  I didn't see him, but maybe my eyes missed him.   AD came to the bench late in the first quarter.  Lively showed up in the second.  Is this regular for injured players?   Man, Lively is really tall.   Maybe the hair plays a part in it, but he is clearly the tallest Mav.  Huge.

Up and down for Cooper.  I thought in the first he was really passive.   The second half was better.  He is much better going downhill or in open space.  He really glides down the floor.    He is already pretty physical getting into the lane, although not nearly as strong as he will get.   In time, he will find ways to get 6 free throws a game and get a few extra buckets.  Those 12 point games will quickly get to 20.   He appeared to hurt his hand late in the game but stayed in the game.

I just don't see it with Dlo.  It is just one game, but I don't think he is a lead guard.   A few nice passes and jitter bugs in the lane but man did I leave unimpressed.    Williams is by far the fastest player on the Mavs.   Nice game, but moving forward I want to see him really impact games outside of his scoring.   Nembhard is going to really work on his three.  Watchign him in warmups, he didn't make a ton.   BTW, the whole Mavs team is not very impressive shooting in warmups.

I am not sure what Cisse is.  Probably not an active NBA player yet, but he had some jaw dropping blocks.   And he plays really hard.   Maybe there is something there.

As always watching an NBA game, I marvel how good you need to be just to get on a court. I also wonder how players can deal with all the noise and lights during timeouts. There is a lot going on out there.

Quite a few Mavs jersey's in the stands.

A good win against another bad team.    I am glad they finished with the team on the court too.

I also hope Coop gets more selfish as the year goes on.    He needs to get those defensive rebounds.  He is really something to watch when he gets a rebound and goes.

Plays really hard was my exact thoughts after the previous game.  Whatever he is, he leaves it all out there.
