Apparently Kidd is sticking with the Flagg at PG thing. I guess this is a good team to do it against, but a loss here would be ugly.

10.5 points is way too high imo. I know the wizards are the wizards, but after the home opener my concerns are even greater than they were before heading into the season.

I hope the Mavs take care of business tonight but I wouldn’t be surprised if they didn’t.

Hopefully they let Flagg run some pick and rolls without Wemby in the way

I get wanting "movement" but it's 2025, run some pick and rolls you weirdos

@GrantAfseth

Daniel Gafford (right ankle sprain), who is listed as questionable against the Washington Wizards, doesn’t appear to have gone through shootaround.

I would also want to see them play Brandon more and with 3 pointers being important we need to insert Hardy out there from time to time at the end of quarters when a 3 point threat is needed top stretch things.

Martin has not been mentioned in injury reports so I wonder what his status is like now.

Exum has a bum knee and evidently he is such an injury prone guy that has developed the mind set that he has to protect his career going forward but at the point its at now he can probably kiss it all goodbye unless he returns and can create a better situation for the team so that he can be there at the time when we need to count on him later in the season.

I can certainly understand the MBT wanting to save him for later in the season and not risk his getting hurt this early in.

If we lose to the damn Wizards with that lineup, they should start a FireNico chant in the arena.

Can´t do that. You are a paying customer, but you are not allowed to voice your opinion about the service provided. If you do that, they remove you from the arena with no refunds. Welcome to the new NBA.

Washington does not have many trade targets who interest me.   Middleton and McCollum make too much money.

Would you trade Marshall for Corey Kispert.  Interesting for me and sounds like a fair trade.  Not sure why the Wizzards would move a pretty good player for a pretty good player though.

I think you’re right to feel that way. The Mavs opened as 12.5 favorites and are now only 8.5… Lot of money on the Wizards.

Yikes. Guess the thinking is the Mavs are so trash offensively that even in a win against a bottom three opponent the margin won´t get out of hand, as long as the other team hits some threes.

Just remember you all talked yourself into AD, hated Luka ball and want to trade Lively. Enjoy it.

Davis looking great on defense, absolutely stellar. In fact the entire defense seems dominant…when it has a chance to set up. And that happens after they score.

The offense looks good in transition and ok on the secondary break, but painfully terrible in half court situations.

Flagg is not a PG, but he is better with the ball in his hands as a scorer than I expected.

LOL. Just stop. Its the Wizards and AD has again looked like shit on defense, but fortunately for him Sarr can´t make open lay-ups. AD has been horrible. The others have been better.

DLO comes in and IMMEDIATELY the ball makes it into the paint for maybe the first time of the game in the half court.
