But how is that possible. The game is not important for Nets and they should lose by 20...

Tell that to the Nets. For one, they have been blitzing Dame, getting the ball out his hands, and they've shut down the P&R with Allen showing on screens. Dame has 30, but he's worked for them. Blazers can still win, but Nets aren't making it easy.

Yeah, I am watching. They are fighting, Mavs didn't. In any game in the bubble

Lillard at the moment is probably best offensive player in the league. He is unbelivable.

Portland is playing zero defense and it might bite them. They were more engaded against Mavs.

RE: Around the NBA 2019-2020 - HoosierDaddyKid - 08-13-2020

Portland dodged a bullet, 134-133.

Blazers are in trouble...they won't last long in the playoffs. Honestly, the Lakers should be glad the Suns didn't make it. Phoenix has been dominating most of their games while the Blazers have had to barely survive almost every game with Lillard doing everything.

Portland is like Dallas. Lights out offensivelly and no defense. Only that Lillard is even better offensively than Doncic. However, I totally agree with you their path will finish as soon as they encounter a serious defensive team and Lakers are that. Although Portland might take more than one victory.

Play in game at 1:30. Portland advances with a win. They play again tomorrow if Memphis wins

I'd be shocked if Portland doesn't advance

Oh Portland has the advantage, too. Then Memphis is done.

One win I could have seen for Memphis, cause Portland had to put a lot of effort into the bubble already, physically and mentally.

Just some random comments on a Kings Reddit:

Luka - using his off-hand to throw between-the-leg dimes in crunch time
Meanwhile, Bagley, not even able to use a fork with his off-hand.

That's still millions of lost revenue because of the one dumbass he put in charge. If I'm Vivek I build a pyre and burn Vlade's Jersey on it along with Vlade

Luka couldve been Sacramento’s Giannis or Lebron. What a shame. That 1 decision probably lost the team hundreds of millions in potential added revenue. Any normal person holding a job at a big company would be fired for that. Luka couldve been the face of the franchise for the next 50 years smh.

I doubt the Kings will EVER draft a player as good as Luka. He could be the best player in the league sooner than later. It was an absolute collosal mistake only rivaled by Sam Bowie over MJ.

Don't want Luka to take the ball out of Fox's hands I was told.
But I see Buddy do it all the time.
Never mind the entire world would prefer the ball in Luka's hands over Fox.

Luka is so good. He looks slow asf but is so crafty it doesn't matter. I agree. Vlade needs to be arrested for this tragedy.

I'd say he's a mix of Harden, Bird and LeBron. He's probably already a better passer than those guys too. Yeah this sucks.

Luka is talented enough to overcome dysfunction (example: Lebron his first 7 years)
This team would just simply be far better with him Anyways , he would’ve put us back on the map with fox, Just so damn devastating what Vlade did to us.

Jerami Grant is a defensive star. Should be a Mavs priority but they will keep the powder dry for a chance at Giannis

RE: Around the NBA 2019-2020 - Hypermav - 08-17-2020

I was thinking that about Grant.  He would be a Jonathan Isaac lite.

Mitchell and Murray, man those guys were on fire.

RE: Around the NBA 2019-2020 - dirkfansince1998 - 08-17-2020

The Nets and Magic are clearly worse than the Suns, Grizzlies or Spurs. The league should have changed the conference/playoff system years ago or at least move some of the better western teams to the east. Maybe even an expansion.
Return of Seattle and Vancouver. Both in the west. Combined with Memphis or Minnesota moving to the ECF.

RE: Around the NBA 2019-2020 - dirkfansince1998 - 08-17-2020

Celtics success shows the Mavs weakness. Wings are the most important players in the modern NBA. A team cannot enough wing sized defenders, shooters or ballhandlers. Tatum, Brown, Hayward, Smart. Add Walker and they probably have 5 top 50 players.
I think Doncic would win it all with a supporting cast like this. Not sure if Tatum or Walker are good enough.

That was just beautiful

Ok, that should be a staple from now on! Impossible to not be pumped for a game after seeing that from a loved one!

Where is half the Magic rotation? No Isaac. No Gordon. No Aminu. Still up early on the Bucks. We are here for you, Giannis. Nobody should have to suffer from playing with Robin Poop for more than two years.

They're all out with injuries. Gordon is expected back in game 2. Magic are about to upset the Bucks in game 1 if they don't come back. Bucks have sucked in the restart. Magic are outplaying them.

I care almost as much about their results, as I do about ours. The Bucks flopping and Giannis having no help would be great. Best of all I feel all the competition for him is in the East (Milwaukee, Toronto, Miami), so the West at least won´t get better. Unless he goes to the Lakers, but then we go after angry Bron or AD.

Damn Vuc is murdering Lopez looking at the statline.
