The LOLZ, if the Pelicans finish the Bubble in last place. Big Grin

I guess that would be CP3. Of course we don't know if he was available, but I would do THJ+Lee for CP3 in the summer. I think he is exactly what this team needs to push them into real contender status. Of course that ship has sailed now. CP3 value has gone up greatly and we don't really have the contracts anymore.

I honestly hated getting CP3 at the time.  But he was perfect for the rebuild and is helping mature youngsters fast.  The trade was win/win because Russ is what Rox needed due to faster pace of play.  Rox just don’t have anyone to board or guard middle now lol.  We got lucky with Dort coming in strong and Bazeley as well.  Dennis and Noel do great off bench and being an athletic team helps.  Gallo is another gem.  Its weird how the team came together but it really works.

If Mavs could get CP3, I agree he would push Mavs over the top.

The Suns are built for The Bubble. Too much talent that can all play to their potential on a neutral court

Impressive start for sure.   Up 10 on the Pacers right now.

Kings Bogdan smoked the Pelicans.  13/20 vs 1/15 against the Mavs.  Funny how things change game to game.

Imagine Matthews hustling and defending like he is doing right now in a Mavs jersey. Maybe the Mavs are cursed or the defensive scheme just sucks and even good defenders look bad because of it.

RE: Around the NBA 2019-2020 - Tyler - 08-06-2020

Tough break for Simmons. Although TBH I think we're way beyond blaming bad luck for Philly's atrocious track record of taking care of their players physically.

BTW, Dallas doesn't have the ammo but I think Simmons would be awesome here recast as a starting PF who leads the defense and is the secondary ballhandler we've been looking for. And it would also be hilarious to see him start to drain 3's under the Dallas coaching.

F*** the Heat, why am I still watching this. American TV is just stupid.

6´5 PJ Tucker and 6´8 RoCo can defend the paint against Anthony Davis and Dwight Howard. Mavs cannot do the same with 7´3 KP, 7´3 Boban and 6´10 Maxi. What am I missing.

RE: Around the NBA 2019-2020 - Hypermav - 08-07-2020

Grizzlies strike back.  That will make the PHX run tough.

Memphis only realistic chance is if top guys start resting their best players. They have Toronto, Boston and Milwaukee left. Ouch. Portland with only a game behind has Clippers, Philly, us and Nets.

SA and Phoenix made a valiant effort, but they were probably too far behind

It's not you missing, it was LeBron missing. AD should kill them inside, but he needs someone to set him up.

Clippers just beat a desperate Blazers team without Kawhi...just too much talent on their roster. And we're supposed to challenge them with a THJ, DFS, Seth, etc.  Undecided

Draft gamble is starting to pay off for the Nuggets. Bol looked promising in the scrimmage games and MPJ is probably their 2nd best player in the bubble.
Averaging 25/8 shooting 55/43/96.

RE: Around the NBA 2019-2020 - SwisherPrice - 08-08-2020

Nuggets just have so much talent...they are building a team that the Sixers should have with all of the high draft picks Philly had. Millsap doing nothing today and no Barton (15 ppg avg), no problem at all with MPJ's emergence

Not only Kawhi, Beverly, LouWill and Harrell were out. Important cogs on the team.

Is T.J.Warren the bubble MVP? Dropped 39 on the Lakers in a 119-111 win. LeBron had 31 only one in double figures, Pacers held AD
to 8 pts.

Nope Luka is the bubble MVP so far...

Yes. I would like him, or Dragan Bender.

Bender couldn't even put up anything reasonable on the G-League Warriors this year. If he couldn't even look somewhat playable on THAT team I don't see how he would ever see the court here.

I think waiving WCS and picking up Hartenstein would be a pretty solid move.

Lou Will played, but Doc just played bench guys at the end of the game for fun I guess.
Still won so didn’t matter much.

I don´t know, but I´m still so pissed the Mavs didn´t jump on that Phoenix stupidity (or confused why nobody else did). He was a career 50% shooter with literally the only knock being that he can´t shoot threes (was like 24-25%). Then he shot 43% from three for a season and the Suns said: Nevermind let´s trade him anyway and add the 32nd pick (which the Pacers flipped into three future 2nd rounders).
