Pretty good get. Unfortunately, this probably means Dudley is gone, too, as promoting him was the only card they had to play to get him to stay.

Still, doing this is probably better.

Definitely a plus.

He's been hired as an "Associate Head Coach." Was that Duley's title? It sounds a little bigger than assistant coach. Maybe he just wants that on his door.

Nice. I was just worried Dallas was going to be caught flat footed. Vogel is a proven coahc. Good defensive coach. It is probably a good idea to get back on a bench, even if he is still being paid by PHX. If he wants to be a HC again, it is good to stay front and center. I don't believe he got any head coach interviews this year. Nice get.

Dudley is probably gone. Can't hold him back if he gets a bigger role. Also probably not a bad idea to experience another organization. I was really impressed with him from what I saw of him.

I would love an offensive mastermind on the staff, to get these special pieces somehow working together and to develop Cooper on that side of the floor. I have no certain name in mind, but think that’s a weak spot, along with the medical department.

Do we know for sure that it wasn't the other way around, that all those coaches (Dudley, Sweeney, Shamgod) left because the new guy was placed ahead of them in the hierarchy?

So this year we have a coach on the bench... Wow. Finally.

Could also be the next HC if Kidd decides again to move on to the Knicks at some point...
