RE: Game 55: Golden State Warriors (27-26) vs. Dallas Mavericks (28-26) | 8:30pm - SleepingHero - 02-12-2025 @NationMffl Mark Cuban has given one of the fans that got kicked out of the AAC last game courtside seats for tonight’s Mavs-Warriors matchup. The PR nightmare it has been kicking out season ticket holders for voicing their displeasure has boiled over if Cuban is doing this. That would take some serious cajones after being gifted those seats (and presumably agreeing to no more protests) but would be really interesting if they did something RE: Game 55: Golden State Warriors (27-26) vs. Dallas Mavericks (28-26) | 8:30pm - Smitty - 02-12-2025 P.J. Washington (ankle) and Danté Exum (Achilles) were downgraded to out against the Golden State Warriors. The Dallas Mavericks remain without Anthony Davis (adductor), Daniel Gafford (knee), Caleb Martin (hip), Dereck Lively II (ankle), and Dwight Powell (hip). Available players tonight Kyrie Irving Klay Thompson Max Christie Naji Marshall Spencer Dinwiddie OMax Prosper Jaden Hardy Kessler Edwards Kylor Kelley Brandon Williams RE: Game 55: Golden State Warriors (27-26) vs. Dallas Mavericks (28-26) | 8:30pm - The Jom - 02-12-2025 (02-12-2025, 07:35 PM)SleepingHero Wrote: @NationMffl There seem to be some things Cuban doesn’t get. But he gets this. That’s the best salvage attempt I’ve seen since Salvage 1 got canceled in ‘79. I'd agree with you if he had gifted "Fire Nico" shirts to wear at the game to go along with the tickets but this is him just spending a little cash because video leaked of him turning around and telling people to shut up when they voiced their displeasure. RE: Game 55: Golden State Warriors (27-26) vs. Dallas Mavericks (28-26) | 8:30pm - Kidnova - 02-12-2025 I was one that was upset about the trade, but ready to move on. However, after the way the Mavs' organization has treated fans recently, I'm only tuning in to look for "Fire Nico" shirts and listen to "Fire Nico" chants. RE: Game 55: Golden State Warriors (27-26) vs. Dallas Mavericks (28-26) | 8:30pm - LukaMVP - 02-12-2025 fire Nico and the new GM will continue to ignore how the fans feel and what is really good for this team. the GM gets finely paid as long as whatever he does pleases the owner. Nico deserves all the hatred and criticism as the aftermath of the trade, of course, but he's just an accessory in this case. I don't believe for a second that the new owner came in and in less than a year gave the order to give away their superstar and primary revenue producer. This has been building for a while and Nico is the main driver of this decision. RE: Game 55: Golden State Warriors (27-26) vs. Dallas Mavericks (28-26) | 8:30pm - SleepingHero - 02-12-2025 Omax playing his heart out. If he had a consistent 3 he'd be so dangerous. RE: Game 55: Golden State Warriors (27-26) vs. Dallas Mavericks (28-26) | 8:30pm - cow - 02-12-2025 O'Max's passing is a bit scary. Wish he'd pull the trigger from deep more but at least he looks at the rim. This has been building for a while and Nico is the main driver of this decision. owner didn't give him the exact order of trading luka, of course. but the new owner didn't quite oppose the idea either. if Cuban still owned this team what he would've done to Nico if Nico traded luka away? Nico knows what his new boss wants, so he initiated and executed a deal that the thought would satisfy and please his boss, which it actually did. none of them gives a shit how the fans feel. the franchise might have lost some value due to the trade but basketball is a small business compared to gambling, after all, and all these "consequences" we see are just seen as collateral damages which are tolerable and necessary in the eyes of the gambling tycoons tbh.
