Lakers opened as 3 point favorites. Close at -6.5.

No Luka, Kyrie, Gafford.

5 game losing streak.

Mavs win outright.

Guaranteed!

Marshall has no left hand at all

Mavs look pretty strong tonight. Offense and defense.

Dinwiddie has been a stud. Grimes, Hardy, Thompson each with big contributions.

Even Maxi looking like a youngster out there.

…and Washington. Did I mention Washington?

Maxi is better as a backup 5 than a backup 4. Maybe this is his future if the Mavs trade Gaff.

Fun game to watch tonight. Hope everyone saw it or can still watch a recording etc. Dinwiddie an all ball handlers were much more appropriate with the ball. The team offense looked so much better like they are figuring out how to play together. Surprisingly they really took control down the stretch. I been watching for some guys to really step up and for less hero ball. It was all much improved tonight.

Beating the Lakers is still a very good thing!  LeBron is setting so many new highs for older players. If you just look at players when they were 36 and older, LeBron is clearly the GOAT.

Same problem with offense though. 5 points in 29 minutes. Just can't play a guy that much in the modern NBA.

Did not expect that. Saw the score and then rewatched the game. Defense was much better than previous games. While Dinwiddie played well, I still thought the ball stuck with him too much. The difference is Dallas hit some shots. If they didn’t, a lot of those possessions would have ended badly and possibly have the Lakers a chance to win that game. Grimes and PJ both were fantastic. Love the rebounding and assists numbers Grimes is producing recently. I even liked the short minutes for Omax. I had hoped with all the injuries they would find some minutes for him. He hasnt earned them lately but the more reps he gets the better.

I think DFS will help the Lakers. Although watching him, you can see he has lost some of that athleticism. At least that is what I think.

The guy we saw last night you can easily play for 20 minutes.  Its becoming more and more clear that his ideal spot is center and not PF.

Is Maxi at C much better than Powell at C?

Lakers played uninspired, like they didn't want to be there. This was a game they should have been motivated to play since the Mavs didn't have, they're two best players and Gafford. Mavs to their credit made shots and played good defense.

Definitely.  He proved that on our 2022 conference finals run.  He just can't stay on the court and needs to just let it fly when he's open.  Way too in his head.
