He is in a 3-year deal with Real Madrid. Won't be a FA until summer 2025.

Interesting list of the Top 10 Non-NBA-players from the Olympics. Not surprisingly Yabusele is number one, didn’t know he shot over 46 percent from three and also didn’t know he stated he’s ready to return to the NBA.

Luka has the best connection possible to Real Madrid and their president, but I fear we don’t have any chance of offering him a contract this season, would be an interesting profile to add to the team that we don’t have right now with his post-up game.

Any NBA team who wants him for this year has to pay Real Madrid a 2.5 mil buyout fee. That means at the minimum he's going to cost around 5.3 mil for 1 year (Although the cap will only be affected by 2.8).
That's pretty expensive for a vet min flyer. I liked what I saw from Yabusele though. And I'm speculating here but I also don't think he wants to return to the NBA without a multi-year deal worth more than the vet min.
