The Memphis Grizzlies are trading forward Ziaire Williams and a 2030 second-round pick via Dallas to the Brooklyn Nets for Mamadi Diakite, sources tell ESPN. Williams was the 10th pick in the 2021 draft.

pretty much a salary dump. Memphis gets room to re-sign Kennard. Williams has been passed by Vince Williams and GG Jackson and really didn't have a future in Memphis.
Brooklyn gets a cheap look at a once promising prospect. Still only 22.

Nailed it.
I think Williams will have his best bet at becoming a thing in the league on the Nets vs. on the Grizzlies. Seems like every party got the best end of the deal. A rare win-win-win.
