So Germany avoided playing Turkey in Berlin in first KO stage (practically an away game).
They now play Montenegro, but if they advance, will likely meet Greece in the quarter final

After first couple of games. Mavs made a huge mistake with Dragic. He can play and is a huge steal for vet min.
Schroeder the player for vet min is good. Can't judge about Schroeder the person.

Yeah, I’ve said this over and over but if Dragic wanted to be here and we basically snubbed him, which appears to be the case, then we’ll the only explanation is The Idiot is still our defacto GM. Just Dragic’s chemistry, influence over and friendship with Luka makes it almost a no-brainer. Not to mention a vet minimum contract. He would’ve been great for 10-20 minutes per night with the occasional spot start.

Dragic said no to Dallas, when the Mavs told him he would be taking the Burke role (4th PG/playmaker) and get sporadic minutes.
As much as I hate all of that, it sounds like the Mavs decided THJ will get those minutes, playing alongside either Luka or SD as the SG when one of them comes out of the game. The value in that would be that it might work (the minutes would certainly be workable), and it also has the potential to make THJ much more desirable in trade. Franky or Green is probably the backup to THJ in that scenario, so filling minutes shouldn't be an issue.
I still hold out hope re Dragic -- I think CHI's 25-30 minutes per game they promised will become obvious BS, and then perhaps Mavs might be able to persuade CHI to trade him so he can play with Luka as he has always wanted. (He wouldn't even take a trade match, and if the Mavs still have an empty roster spot they can slide him right onto the roster).

Bracket busted by 2 OT games.
Turkey really threw it away, they were up 2 with 12 sec left, got 2 FT and the ball due to an intentional foul. Osman missed both FT, then Turkey turned it over.
Lithuania almost upset Spain, but lost in OT.
Slovenia with sloppy play for 3 quarters, but Luka casually added 35/5/5 for the win.
Germany dominated the first half, doubling up the score of Montenegro, but completely lost track after halftime. Almost threw it away, but they could hang on to a small lead in the end.
