You're joking right?

I got to admit it is a little depressing looking at box scores.   Rookie Bones Hyland goes for 24 off the bench.  Two guys from the Heat named Max Strus and Gabe Vincent go for 32 and 27 last night.  Etc.   And on the other hand, I feel Bullock goes full beast mode when he has a game where he makes 2 shots.

The Grizzles are amazing.  They are scoring 120 plus points most games and are just beating teams down without their best player.   Bane with another game of scoring 24 with going 4-5 from 3.   Most nights you look at their box score and they typically have at least 4 starters in the teens with points.

Houston signed Garrision Matthews.  He was on a two way contract but they signed him for a four year 8 million dollar contract.  I was unfamilar with him but Zach Lowe talked about him on one of his podcasts.    Looks like a cool story.

It is also frustrating that the Lakers looked really good against the Mavs and then the next team look like a tire fire.   I don't think it was anything the Mavs did.  I really thought the Lakers looked good even with a less than peak Anthony Davis.   Last night, Minnesota ran all over them.  I know that happens in the NBA when one night you have it and the next night you don't.   But man, I would have loved to play that Laker team last night instead of the one we got to play.

Interesting. I thought there would be market for him at least a second rounder or two.

I mean is Zion weight a bad weight?
I see this claim lot, but I feel he is more of a Mr.Olympia type of weight rather than being fat tbh.
Not that lean body mass can't hurt your joints, but that is different story when it comes to blaming him. This mean his trainers are to blame rather than his ethics

Damn, it's getting almost to the point of shutting down NBA, NFL, and NHL.

Matthews can score. I remember him with the Wizards last year, and the token minutes he did get, he wasn't bad. He's the reason they are waiving House. Houston is 7-3 with him in the starting lineup.

Season will probably be paused late January if not sooner.  Everyone will get Omicron.

I wouldn't count Tarpley. He was good from the start. Tarpley could have been a HOF-type player. Drugs derailed his life and career and ultimately his death. The three I named were horrible from the start and had no indication of drug use whatsoever.

Major blow for the Lakers. This would be a good time for any team wanting to pad a few games in the west to string some wins together.

KP going to pass Day to Davis in games played this year.  KP has 5 more starts/games than Luka Doughcic.

They aren't a good team even when Davis is playing in large part because of his play.  It will be interesting to see how they get rid of Westbrook at the TDL or during the offseason.

Josh Richardson dropped 27/5/4 against the Knicks.
47.5/40.5/81.4 shooting splits for the season. 60% TS.

Might have to talk about reasons why the Mavs cannot make it work with players like Wright, Richardson or Bullock (?).

I literally came to post this same thing. It is CRAZY. JR even has a positive plus/minus.

Honestly there is only one common thread for all those guys: Luka (please tell me if I am wrong here).

Which makes me ask two questions:

1) Is defending the wing alongside Luka a really terrible job that is almost impossible to succeed in?

2) Is shooting alongside Luka a really difficult job that a good number of shooters cannot succeed in?

The trend is alarming. I am not saying "it is all Luka's fault"...but I simply don't have an explanation other than playing alongside him at this point.

Or mybe JR's different role in BOS resulted his better stats thius year.. He's not a starter, playing not so much against opponent starters. He was strongly gainst not starting games last season if anybody remember. And I am happy for JR.
