I will always want to know what we offered Phoenix that night for that pick (to take Haliburton as widely reported) and what they saw in Jalen Smith who many had mocked well out of the lottery to say no to our package.

On the surface, it feels like they probably could have had Seth Curry and then just drafted Jalen Smith at 19 but maybe we'll never know.

Seth Curry is just another of the offense only guys that this team wrongly stockpiled. I’m fine with trying something different. Curry instead of JRich wouldn’t have helped get us out of the first round last year.

I wasn't really getting at any of that...I'll just never understand why the Suns were never willing to work with us on a draft day trade if they were so determined to draft someone they could have most like traded back for and gained another asset in the process, that's all.

I'm pretty sure Sarver doesn't like Cuban dating back to the Nash fiasco and will not trade with us.

Knicks /Raptors is a old fashioned shootout. Good game.

He is right but that falls under the same category as the Embiid/Rivers statements when they called out Ben Simmons. Never a good idea to do it through the media. This isn´t going to help. Will only escalate the situation. Unless that was Smarts plan and he wants to get out of Boston.

KP and Powell for Smart and Horford?

BOS might quickly become a tenable trade partner for KP if their situation continues to degenerate.

Not sure when he can be traded but Smart just signed an extension so trade machine says “can’t be traded this year” anyone know if that is calendar or season year?

Is it just me, or is 29 FTs for ATL a bit excessive?

Trae cried and the NBA had compassion on his tears.

Yes...it's excessive.  TYoung had 11 on his own.  Down a bit from normal for him...

I think it's season year in this case, but I could be wrong. Either way, I think he's untradable this season. Which is probably why he feels comfortable calling out Tatum and Brown.

I do wonder how long Brad Stevens is going to watch Boston regress before making big changes. I could absolutely see him breaking up Tatum and Brown at some point to bring more balance to the team. And looking at their roster needs, I imagine KP and Brunson look mighty tempting. Just sayin'.
