I thought he would have a decent NBA career when Portland drafted him. He could shoot the 3, and had a nice all around game. This is so sad as obviously he was battling other demons and was just 25. R.I.P. RE: AROUND the NBA: GSW Champs - Chicagojk - 06-21-2022 (06-21-2022, 09:42 AM)Kammrath Wrote: https://twitter.com/r0bato/status/1539250167429353474 That is really sad. So very young. It was cool Dame stood up for him like that too. He probably entered the NBA at the wrong time. He probably would have had much better success in the 90s. He was really strong down low but that part of the game is being marginalized and it was tough for him to find a footing. Absolutely gut wrenching for his friends and family. I think I was neutral on it because it was for D'Lo and if I remember right Minnesota threw them a pick too. I wouldn't even necessarily call that an L by Minnesota in hindsight though, they needed a shake up and so did Wiggins. They probably wouldn't have made the playoffs without that trade.
