There has been SOOOO many times I've talked myself out of figuring out what the opposite to this thought is and typing it (so that we can see correctly where the middle is and the actual truth lies), but I can't, cause knowing the opposite isn't true makes it really hard for me to type.

I get triggered way too easily. I hate myself.

KL and IGT in this thread reminds me of that sort-of fight between Alonzo Mourning and Grandmama.

I love how no matter what any thread eventually morphs into a KP debate thread.

Myself, I feel strongly...both ways.

For good reason
What to do with him really is Nico's most important decision at the moment I'd say

Need an anti-trigger support group...

Nico is doing an interview on the Ticket right now..

Says Bob is not physically with the org right now and is not involved with draft or free agency preparation. He said he does not know what Bob’s contract status is and will not fully evaluate front office staff until after the draft and free agency. It was weird.

Does The Ticket upload their content online? I need to hear this interview. Seeing tons of people on Twitter comment on how bad it was.

Mostly that he sounded clueless and inexperienced. And he said again that he doesn't even know if Bob is still employed by the team which is weird for the President of Basketball Operations to not know.

Well he IS inexperienced at being a GM, but him being called clueless is a new one. After that press conference where we saw Nico dance around all the hardball questions gracefully I'm a bit dumbstruck that he could ever be described that way.

Regarding him not knowing if Bob even exists, it's a little weird. The only explanation I could come up with was Cuban telling him to specifically not say anything to the press but I keep coming back to why...?

Either you like what Bob brings and want to keep him, or you want to move on. Why all the secrecy regarding his employment status??? I do think this is being blown a bit out of proportion by some of the Mavs internet, but still odd all around.

Why all this speculation, anyway. I thought @"VintagePejav2" was Bob's buddy! What's the real story, VP?

I didn't hear the interview, but it just keeps getting weirder.  Chaos he caused?   The more they are secret about this the bigger story it will be.

Maybe Bob did some good things and proved valuable to the Mavs.  Maybe it was just a internal power struggle.  Those things happen in teams.    If it is not Bob, it is probably going to be someone else in the future trying to get Cuban's ear.   Front offices are filled with alphas and people thing they have all the answers.

Why not just address it and get it over with?   Say Bob did some good things but Nico has full say in how he wants to build the organization or Bob is no longer with the organization and we thank him for his services.  Or just something.   With what they have said so far, I would be asking about Bob with every Mav interview.   Now we have the current GM saying Bob created all that chaos.   Just really weird.
