They aren't getting as much penetration because they aren't getting by the first defender. PJ and Kleber looked good on defense. Gafford solid in the few minutes he played. Lively hasn't been good.

Not much, just a bit less stagnant offense for a few possessions Imo. Kleber not being able to hit anything is a huge problem given his role on the team.

Flight home got cancelled. Stuck in Vegas, about to watch 2nd half with no sound. Caught the end of the first half, and saw Luka get pulled up in the pick and roll twice by Tatum. Both blow bys. Have they been picking on him the whole time?

The small things will decide this one. Mavs have to box out better, limit turnovers and hit their free throws to pull this out.

Holiday beating the hell out of our bigs in the paint, outrebounding Lively on contested boards, wasn’t on my bingo card. What a bad half, especially by the bigs. Boston was pretty bad. Mavs should be up by 10 if they played a decent half.

They have been. He’s been so-so. Contained some drives but has been blown by a few times. He’s used a lot of energy on offense. He IS the offense.

2 points total from Gafford and Lively. Two players that the Mavs depended on heavily to produce on offense in the regular season and the playoffs. This doesn't look good.

Lively not even getting off the floor for some rebounds. He needs to hustle and scrap on every play. His worst game for us in ages.

Brown too & Horford always boxes out well anyway. It’s like we’re not even a factor on the offensive glass anymore.
At some point Lively and Gafford need to take part in this series. Really difficult with them being so far from their usual output.

Kyrie can’t wait until the fourth either. Need to start right away. Seems like at some point a Boston run is coming. Dallas needs someone else to be making shots

Seems like Mavs still need to get a big that can actually shoot the 3 next season. Kleber isn't that guy anymore. Disappointing.
