I'd be really happy if he gets to Siakam status which is a popular comp, especially after watching the finals. Anything beyond that is gravy.

Top 4 player in NBA history is on the board for Flagg. It’s going to be a hell of a ride. Can’t wait for tomorrow and the next few seasons. Let’s treat him right. I hope the Mavs front office doesn’t blow another opportunity to build around an all time great.

A lot of positive PJ Washington talk the last 12 hours. Make my Mavs heart happy. I haven't listened to the Nico press conference yet, but did see that he talked about PJ in particular, being able to start next to Flagg on the Wing.
And Flagg said PJ was part of the crew that took him to dinner, and joined in the hour+ pre-draft workout? I feel much better about the situation now!

I posted this in another thread, but in the press conference Nico intimated that he had good news on guys (plural) and intend to sign the 'both' when we are allowed to.

IF that's the case, Nico has earned some grace with me. I felt getting PJ to sign a below market deal would be harder than getting Gafford or Kyrie to. Getting all 3 locked up at very very reasonable deals is great work. Maybe relationships do matter...
