But, even PJ is still younger at 26. He is only in his 6th season and still not in his prime. Those are some good young pieces to build with. I don't want any of those 3 moved. Another 50 season and we have to talk about his availability on the court. He does seem to get hurt a lot. That's a problem with some bigs that are over 7ft tall. And pairing him with Anthony street clothes day-to-Davis is a suicide. But someone here is happy. Wow. RE: AROUND the NBA: - SwisherPrice - 03-01-2025 Quentin Grimes won. Didn't accept the Mavs contract offer and bet on himself. It doesn't always work out like this for players but it looks like he will get a huge contract somewhere, maybe double what the Mavs would have given him RE: AROUND the NBA: - HoosierDaddyKid - 03-06-2025 https://x.com/RealDCunningham/status/1897475766670983676 Cleveland is on their 3rd 12-game winning streak this season, and are an NBA best 52-10. RE: AROUND the NBA: - HoosierDaddyKid - 03-06-2025 https://www.espn.com/nba/story/_/id/44129624/pritchard-white-first-celtics-teammates-40-point-games Pritchard and White are the 1st Celtics teammates to score 40 or more points in the same game. They also set a record for made 3's between teammates with 19. (10 for Pritchard and 9 for White) RE: AROUND the NBA: - FireNicoHarrison - 03-06-2025 Let's go Cavs, Cs, OKC or any team not named Fakers. RE: AROUND the NBA: - HoosierDaddyKid - 03-07-2025 https://www.slamonline.com/the-magazine/slam-254/the-payton-pritchard-effect/ The Payton Pritchard effect. RE: AROUND the NBA: - SleepingHero - 03-08-2025 Joker with the first 30-20-20 grant in NBA history. Absolutely insane performance RE: AROUND the NBA: - HoosierDaddyKid - 03-08-2025 (03-08-2025, 01:09 AM)SleepingHero Wrote: Joker with the first 30-20-20 grant in NBA history. Absolutely insane performance Joker is one of one. Most assists by a Center in NBA history. I bet Denver will never trade him either. You don't trade transitional or generational players, and he surely is one. https://x.com/statmuse/status/1898250395962511405 RE: AROUND the NBA: - HoosierDaddyKid - 03-08-2025 https://x.com/ShamsCharania/status/1898161818004005149 Brunson out 2 weeks with a severe ankle sprain. I could see them tumble in the standings. He's their heart and soul. RE: AROUND the NBA: - DallasMaverick - 03-08-2025 Boston just dismantling the Lakers. Defense is so tough. RE: AROUND the NBA: - FireNicoHarrison - 03-09-2025 LeBron injury is a great news. RE: AROUND the NBA: - HoosierDaddyKid - 03-09-2025 (03-09-2025, 03:18 AM)FireNicoHarrison Wrote: LeBron injury is a great news. That's kind of weird. Why is it great news? Do you actively wish for players to get injured? RE: AROUND the NBA: - HoosierDaddyKid - 03-09-2025 I'd never thought I'd say this, but Russell Westbrook fits Denver better than any other team he's been on. He has great chemistry with the Joker. I'm not a fan of his game at all, especially now that he's past the stage of his career where he's allowed to be on-ball constantly, but I agree, he fits there better than I thought he would, and definitely better than he fit at his last few spots. His problem was ever been PO basketball... If opponents can let him wide open he can't be on the floor.
