Those folks that wanted Draymond Green on our team...no thank you.  This guy is a nutcase.  And honestly, I don't think he's that great.  Zero chance of the Warriors wanting to resign him.  If you're the Warriors, you're already in the luxury tax.  Are you going to spend more money to retain Green or Poole?

I don’t recall that I’ve offered an opinion one way or another on Draymond.  With that said, if his goal was to lower his trade value and force his way to a team that might pay him more than GS, he’s off to a good start.

I don’t really know how to feel.  The guy has a +13.7 CAREER On-Off in the PLAYOFFS (and four rings).  That, despite the fact he can’t hit from deep.  If you trade for him, the cost is not only trade assets, but big money for an extension for years that he will turn 34, 35 and 36.  And, he’s a loose cannon (at best).

For me, it depends on the outgoing package.  If we don’t lose much in terms of picks/outgoing players, it would be hard to turn down.  It strengthens us to contender status and weakens a primary opponent.  Powell + Bertans was once a pipe dream for Green.  Now, we might have a puncher’s chance.

Too soon?.

I don't think Mark will want to pay for Draymond.

I don't want him and I think I would rather have (gulp) Powell.  (This thought is only valid in regards to using assets to aquire this one player.)

I'd take Draymond any day of the week.  Every team needs a little crazy.

Isn't Delonte West still available?

It´s funny and sad that every time something like this happens the media conversation start with: Who is going to trade for him now? I can only see four teams: X, Y, Z and Dallas.

Draymond is on the apology tour right now. But I'm not convinced you can un-ring that bell as easily as he (or GS, it seems) want to push for.

I think back to the Will Smith thing, which was mild in comparison, merely a slap. That led to much bigger repercussions than "stepping back" and "being away from the team for a bit" and saying "I apologize," and it's been months and Will Smith is still a pariah trying to recover from his misdeed.

It's hard to understand the deafening silence by the NBA and NBPA in this matter, frankly. This is very much their domain, one player hitting another in the face with malice, and it was done during NBA-related activity.

Yeah, I don't think he will wind up as a Mav.  And if the Warriors cut bait with him that would speak volumes to me as they are in a championship window still.   I also expect Draymond on another team besides Golden State probably won't be a good experience.

I do think an engaged and still able to play Draymond would work really well in Dallas...even if he cannot shoot.   Throw him in our top 8 (maybe start at PF or instead of McGee) and that could work really well.  I do think GS system and team can hide Draymond a little and only highlight his strengths.  His weaknesses would be more pronounced on other teams.

Honestly...I think Draymond is a P****.

Go join military or do MMA if you like hurting people.  Acting like a brat and kicking other players in the balls during an organized basketball game amongst adults is pretty sad.   And people defend that behavior because its "going above and beyond" to win.  No ones trying to get kicked in the grapes in a basketball game...and people defend this guy.

Draymond is likeable in the booth...but petty as all hell on the court.   Wouldnt want to win with a guy like that.

I myself would love to see him give guys like Marcus Morris the business after he does what he does to Luka. We all know Maxi will be on the screen seen walking away from that type altercation, and Powell might get in there trying to fight it with reason that won’t stop it at all. Having the ability to fight back at that type instigating (without it being your player who is the most important on the court) is the only way to either stop it or root it out of the game (double ejection). I don’t think sticking your head in the sand, or closing your eyes and wishing it away works when every game in the playoffs matter and it is currently lauded as smart playoff basketball.

Please prove to me that you live in an environment where you have to fight your neighbor daily.   If you dont...youre come across as a complete tool.

I bet you were cheering Tyson biting the ear off Holyfield...when Holyfield signed up for a boxing match.

You are condoning this behavior.  Prove you do MMA or kill yourself.  Hurting people over bball game is uncalled for and as many infractions as Draymond has...he shouldnt be in the league.

Until you prove you are a true fighter in an environment where people are prepared to fight...shut up.   You come across as someone that loves altercations.  Prove you live and are about that life.  Until then...I assume your are a cat that loves playing with a mouse and calling yourself tough.

Ban me for making sense.

I agree, you were very triggered at my response. As evidenced by your rant that had nothing to do with my reply. Seek help my guy.

If calling you out as being a hypocritical wussy is triggered...so be it.

You cant prove that you are about that life.  You are propagating some BS.

You failed to provide evidence you are about some life you are condoning.  Youre a fake and a biaaatch.  You cant prove me wrong on that assertion.  Be proud of yourself though.

No one else on this board chiming in and calling you out on you condoning hatred proves this is all fake.  Kudos to the board.

Your being triggered knows no bounds. Reread what I said and show me how I acted as if I was about that life? Also, what life are we talking about? The life of an NBA antagonist? I don’t play in the NBA, so I can’t be about that life. What I don’t like is guys like Marcus Morris bodying and bullying Luka on the court and getting away with it. Is that the life you’re talking about? The fact that I love that Jokic actually fought back at that same guy who tried it with him? Is that the life you’re talking about? What life do I have to lead in your simple mind to want protection from the guys that will do stuff like that to our players? The NBA isn’t stopping them. Please tell me, what life am I leading Mr. Void?

I don’t think he’s a nutcase. What he did was criminal, not crazy. He belongs in jail. He will not come to Texas. He knows better. He’d get himself locked up or shot.
