He's talented I just don't like how he carries himself. I'm also not sure if he is that dude and might be better served as Robin instead of Batman. It's all rather moot as I don't think the Mavs could put together a package to obtain him in the first place and if they could scrape something together, the leftovers are going to be much worse teams than what Booker has been on of late.
I still want Nico to complete his foolish vision by acquiring KD. Right now he's left the team bleeding and dying on the floor. Like Morgan Freeman said in Nurse Betty, "Boom, Boom, Boom. Three in the head, you know they're dead." Finish the job, Nico.

4 first round picks and a young player for KD. Yeah, wishful thinking. I mean how many teams have four first round picks to trade? Also, KD is going to have some say on where he will go. I don't expect this to be the Mavs, but this will not be a 30 team auction.
I guess you could do what PHX did. Trade one future pick for 3 bad firsts and then attach Jaden as your young player. Done. Unfortunately, salaries make it even more difficult.
edit..this was for Booker and not KD. Sorry. Anyway, KD's value went down last night after he was trash talked by Cam Spencer.

Wouldn't he be a PG here? Its hard to think of anything more soul crushing than sending out everything we have to bring in Booker just so we can watch Luka make him his bitch in the playoffs again.

Not sure how many desperate teams there are in the NBA, but maybe the Suns and Mavericks could be interested.

There was a rumor that Grimes agent asked for a trade after the Luka trade, but Grimes said he was surprised he got traded. I guess both can be true. Without question that trade is going to help his future income.
The rumor was that Grimes was offered the Naji contract, so that jives with the 9 mil number. Given what he is doing in Philly (and honestly what he was doing here in more limited minutes) he made the right call.

Yeah, pretty sure that's just due to outdated model data.
Although I meant it as a joke, I actually think using AI to analyze trades isn't a bad idea. Feed the model all the data for every single trade, what it cost, how the traded players produced, etc and it could probably give an accurate assessment of different trade proposals and evaluate the difference in value, etc.
That would just be more information for a good negotiator to have, assuming a team has a good negotiator in the first place...
