Is Lively banged up? Only 8 first half minutes. Gafford was great, just surprised to see Lively with low minutes. Maybe just hot hand.

Not sure why the minutes got flipped, but I’m fine with it. They got off to a great start, and it took Jokic a while to get going, so mission accomplished. Gafford is playing well off the bench, as you said, so I say let him eat on nights like that.
Lively might not be as used to playing in the high altitude as some of the older guys are, too.

As long as there’s no injury, I’m fine. As much as I push back on people dogging Gafford, I know what Lively means to this team.

I think it’s mostly cause the Mavs took off with Gafford. Kidd running with the hot hand and Lively already has 3 fouls.
