Jason Kidd says it'll be a "committee" regarding who will defend quicker guards after losing Derrick Jones Jr.
He says there will be times when Luka Dončić, Kyrie Irving, and Klay Thompson "will have to guard," but emphasized the unit is "here to help each other."

Olivier-Maxence Prosper “absolutely” expects a bigger role this season.
Says that he is focused on defense and being a disrupter, but also wants to be a good compliment to Luka Doncic and Kyrie Irving on the offensive end.

Luka Doncic says he ‘expected’ the Dallas Mavericks training camp to be in Las Vegas because of the new ownership.
Doncic adds that he’s excited to return to Vegas after only being there shortly for NBA Summer League before his rookie season.

I asked Luka Dončić about training camp in Las Vegas and how that trip can help the team with new players, like last year in Abu Dhabi and Madrid.
He said being outside of Dallas where the team can’t go to their homes and just be together is a big part of chemistry.
