for me, that’s basically THE ONLY reason (unless you’re actually dependent on it to eat) to go fishing…
Most inshore fishing, I can see it. Offshore? If you want to land a large fish, you better have all your coordination, endurance and strength available. Just went to the Gulf in June with some of the boys in the family. We only caught 2 100 lb tuna (among smaller size tuna and some smaller snapper), but they gave us about 45 mins of fight each. Those were small fish compared to what you can find in the oceans.

I haven't fished in years, but this is how I would expect it to go...

I guess they have vivid imaginations.

More reasonable than Hawks fans.

Let´s just say that I would take my chances with basketball or football before I try my luck (risk my life) on a ski jumping hill.

I'd rather die quick for ski jumping than from CTE destroying my brain gradually.

His goose is cooked. No NBA team is going to risk signing him at this point, including Charlotte.

I feel like the tax structure in the CBA was put there to help protect the owners' bank accounts from the owners' egos. What we are seeing is that, if the bank account is large enough (or the cash flow is deep enough) then the safeguards can be ignored.

Cuban used to be on the wealthier side for most NBA owners, at least when he purchased the team, he's currently 13th in net worth among NBA owners. This is based on an article in Fadeaway World back in April.

After the crypto crash, I'm not sure where he's at.

I mean looking at the photo, I feel it isn't telling the whole story.
Like Jeanie Buss might be worth 500M, but so is each of every sibling of her who owns around 70% or so in the Lakers, so paying the tax is less issue for them than Cuban.
Other rich owners in small markets won't pay that much in tax unless they have a Lebron type of player, those guys treat the team as a busy and this is generally how they build there wealth, by being ruthless sob  Big Grin

Joe Lacob has the smallest net worth, but has one of the most smartest and successful teams. Go figure...

Saw Jake Fisher says Vanderbilt is getting the most calls from teams on the newest Jazz players.  Not surprising due to age & contract.  He is also a guy who fits with a lot of teams as he doesn’t need plays run for him.   Not a shooter though.  I think he would fit in really well here.

BTW, I saw Micic signed a contract with his team overseas.   So he is not an NBA option for this year.   Even if Dallas was interested, it would have been very tricky to get OKC's attention.
