Nice run. AD is probably their best player, but man do I like the Flagg, PJ, lively front court.

Not watching the game, but this is, I think, another negative consequence of two bigs. Driving space is simply not a priority for this team, as evidenced by their approach to spacing, so the idea is that they have to get the ball inside through means other than dribble penetration (before they get the defense into rotation, at least). The main beef I have with two bigs is that the approach makes it almost impossible to play good three-level defense, but this is strong secondary gripe I have with it.

Some good and some bad. I think AD has been bad to awful so far. Lamelo is caus8ng a lot of trouble getting into the lane.

I am a big Kon fan, but that was a rough half by him. Probably how a lot of rookies look.

AD just looks so out of place tonight. Slow on both ends. Has let so many rebounds fly by and offensively he's settling for threes and contested mid range jumpers. The only points he's scored has been off of lobs or the one time he took a paint shot.
Just super disappointing
Meanwhile the Flagg/PJ/Lively combo has given me A LOT to like.
This team lacks so much creation though. It's so evident. I don't think Kyrie will magically fix that.

AD has been surprisingly so bad. Forcing so much and can't get a shot off.
DLo has some bad shot selection too.
What's hilarious to me is AD is-24 and DLo is -17. Lively and Flagg both +3. That's a +27 difference with AD off/on and +20 difference with DLo.

Well cooper looked like a rookie in the third. I really hope they find those type of shots for Lively. He is much more than a lob threat.
The big concern in this preseason game is the penetration the starters are giving up. This leads to open threes and offensive rebounds.

Christie with some Josh Green defense. A lot of activity and energy but his player is making all their shots. A little backup for him after a nice first game.

Unfortunately Max has been abused out there tonight. Ouch. Not a good performance from him.
