Defense is so bad. Detroit is carving them up. Can’t win on the road like this. It almost cost them against the underhanded pelicans team

It is tough to judge Marshall due to all the missed games. Need to be honest, I have been disappointed with his defense. Pretty average imo. We need that spot to be a really good defender. Impressed with his offense though.

I just don’t get it. 10 minutes and 1 shot for Grimes in 3 quarters. He has been pretty forgettable nut they need guys who can defend. Very curious with his low minutes.

need to focus on getting stops and maybe you have to get some steals and blocks to stop them from scoring. Damn mavs get tough and stop letting them bang on you guys and stop you from getting where you need to go.

Exum not taking that wide open 3 and proceeds to get manhandled by Ron Holland lost all momentum Mavs had in this quarter.
Holland and Sasser are so annoying, but dudes play hard.

Mavs are missing tha DJJ defense badly. Grimes and Naji have been underwhelming defensively.

Tonight’s game is the epitome of why Kidd will never have a successful regular season. Season circling the drain. Must win game against a weak opponent. He comes out with the most chaotic rotation I’ve seen yet. The new big GLeague stiff shouldn’t play a second of meaningful minutes. He was -10 in the 6 competitive minutes tonight. No theory or even apparent goal to win this late season game. Just more experimentation. What a colossal waste of a season. We need a new coach badly.

Weak opponent? Detroit is much improved after winning just 14 games last year. You can't count automatic wins in this league.

Disappointing performance. No resistance from the Mavs tonight. Detroit took it to them. Can’t see this team winning the next few with their lack of perimeter d. Can’t outshoot that poor d.

So,I had to run out but grimes got no more playing time…even in mop up duty? Is he hurt? It won’t surprise me if he is moved. Personally I have liked his game more than Marshall. Team thinks otherwise though.

They’re better, just not good. Winnable game. The Mavs may well have lost even if they give an honest effort, but it’s coaching malpractice to play this one like it’s preseason.
