Early pains are fine, but is this supposed to get better, if we just play iso ball all night? Are Naji and Grimes supposed to learn how to properly stand around and wait for Luka to take dumb shots? Can´t they at least pretend to run plays.

Still too much shot hunting for Luka. Feels like a carry over from last game. I'm not a fan of the way he's playing the last game and half. Game 1 was how we need to operate as a team.

PJ's defense and hustle taking over the 2nd quarter. Blocks into rebounds into easy points. Love to see this. Now if we can just make a consistent 3...
Lively flashed yet again his incredible touch then comes right back down and blocks Kessler. He's also been taking over defensively this quarter.

Yep on Luka. He’s 1/10 from the field while his teammates are 16/30. Plus he gave up a 5-4 fast-break 3 while sitting on the floor pouting about not getting a call.

Maybe Luka should take two weeks off and work on his conditioning. He´s hurting the team.

At the half, 2 stats stand out. Mavs with 7 blocks. Wow. And Jazz with a 14 to 8 advantage in free throw attempts. I suspect this one is scripted for pro-Mavs calls in the second half. I’d put money on Mavs to cover from here.

I have really disliked how Luka has started the season. Hopefully he can play h8mself into shape. He has been bad tonight. Good rebounding though.
Mavs searching for any bench guard to make an impression. Din hasn’t done it tonight.
Bigger importance, that was really tough for Hendricks. I typically don’t want to see those injuries but saw that one. Wish I had not.
