I hope Luka is watching. His game is very similar even though they play different positions. Both aren't particularly athletic, high BBIQ, great passers, and scorers, and see plays before they develop. But the difference is Jokic is doing this from the 5 position. He's one of a kind.

Jokic is undoubtly best player in the league right now. But, there is no comparison between the amount of energy Jokic uses to create or score vs what Luka needs to do. Denver is playing totally different, with lots of running and cutting of other players, to which Jokic delivers. Dallas is always Luka beating his opponent of the dribble. Just look at Jokic baskets and assists from yesterday game and compare that to any of Luka games.

Silver's got a bit of a conundrum.
On the one hand, the NBA is a star-driven league. They are the ones that put butts in seats. It's the reason they wanted to establish a 65-game minimum for league awards.

On the other hand, Silver has tried to be a leader on social issues, generally towards the left. Guns and the gangsta culture are a huge no-no which will substantially reduce the number of butts in seats, as well.

Suns hiring Vogel. After seeing Monty's contract, it will be interesting to see Vogel's #'s. New really rich owner and a coach who has won a championship.
Sort of a bummer for Dallas who may have been favorites to have him as an assistant if he did not get a head coaching position.
