For that reason alone I expect a 15 point win with Caleb Martin and Dante Exum showing out.

This is a game where lack of size is just clearly the difference in the game.
If the Mavs were hitting half their threes, it would be a different story. But a ton of missed shots…
But being outrebounded 36-19 is tough.

The Mavs are down to seven healthy players after Dwight Powell and Kessler Edwards collided with each other. Both went to the locker room.
Naji Marshall is the only Dallas player available who is taller than 6-6.

Proud of the guys trying to stay with Durant, Beal and Booker. Still a 1.5 game cushion. Winning the game would have been huge though.

Career Naji game.
Crazy he couldn’t buy a bucket when the Mavs were actually trying to win. But when there’s no one else and no pressure to actually perform he looks like a totally different player.

Naji should average 20 the rest of the season with all of the usage he will get. Looks like Dinwiddie has already checked out so Naji will get all the touches he wants. I bet Dinwiddie is already planning what team to sign with next...I predict the Clippers

We'll overcome that "cushion" in a few games. They aren't getting a higher draft pick than us!

I would imagine this roster is going to have very few of the guys who played today here next year.
I imagine they're going to have to give Williams a full contract next year.

Tanker of the game is Spencer Dinwiddie 0 for 3 from deep and 2 of 6 overall. Needs to work on them turnovers he needs more and he should never have an assist as much as he likes to play hero ball.
Caleb Martin for the honorable mention went 1 for 6.

These next two games against the Spurs are going to be huge for the tank. If the Mavs can successfully come out of it 0-2, they will have a chance of finishing third-worst in the West.

I would prefer they make the play in. We have spent so many years tanking and dry powdering, it turns into a life waster.
