Guard Dennis Smith Jr. has agreed to a one-year deal to return to the Dallas Mavericks, agent Daniel Hazan of Hazan Sports Management tells ESPN. Smith reunites with the franchise that drafted him No. 9 overall in 2017 and now he'll compete in training camp in Dallas.

Was curious what everyone is doing for Mavs/NBA games next year?  Especially out of towners.   For the last few years I have used YoutubeTV league pass.   The price increases on standard YoutubeTV is a totally seperate discussion, but I have enjoyed the NBA package.   I can start the games late and fast forward thru commercials.  I could not start games late a few years ago using the NBA.com league pass.   

It was announced last week Youtubetv will not be offering NBAleague pass this year.   It will be done by Amazon instead.  I have not seen any pricing yet or how it will work.

To complicate things there are different platforms in play this year.  So I assume not all the games will be on League Pass?   Seems to be pretty dificult to a really simple request.   I want to watch most of the Mavs games.

Do any of you feel this is eerily similar to the Luka trade? How Luka was traded was more messy, but Parsons was probably the best player on his team as well. What is Jerry Jones doing?

I think this Flagg situation has peaked my interest for this season. I’m really interested in seeing what the starting lineup will be and what lineups play the best to start the season.
I am REALLY interested in seeing if and how Nembhard looks on the court as well as if Williams was a flash in the pan. Would have liked to have been able to ink Jones to the team replacing Powell with him, but there’s still enough stuff to watch out for to be looking  forward to.

What are your thoughts? What storylines intrigue you the most? Who here would join in the “Fire Nico” chant ingame or is that old news in your opinion?

Solid, but unspectacular for 10 years?
Or “bunch” assets into 2- or 3-year “windows”, and accept losing the rest of the time.
