I would say that the Mavs' chances in the last three games are quite good, in that they'll be playing teams jockeying for lottery position. Three of the next four games - the Nets hungry for a win, the Cavs on the SEGABABA, and the Grizz trying to stay in the upper bracket of the playin - will be quite challenging. If the Mavs can win out over the next four games, they can play the last three games for positioning, especially the last game - ensuring they play the wounded Nuggets instead of the rough matchup of the Clipps. A lot to ask. I think the Mavs have it in them; they just have to dig deep and make it happen game-to-game. I would say this game is the most important - if they don't win, they'll likely have to go at least 5-1 in the last six games to avoid the playin.
Win tonight would be huge!
We'll be up for this one. Should be competitive at the very least. Hoping we pull out a win.
I'll be interested to see how the officiating goes in this game. National TV game and a NYC market team playing.

No doubt. National TV + good team = Mavs trying hard which is crucial. This is the only Mavs team I can ever remember that plays better against good teams than bad ones which is really strange.

This was an aspect of the 3 J’s that I loved and what won me over to become a full time Mavs fan. There was a SI article called “Giant Killers” (I believe that was the title) back then written about it.

I’ve never put a single poster on ignore but I considered it a couple of times for that dude. His position on that play and his overall hatred of Luka was one of the weirdest and most ridiculous things I’ve seen in the 10 or so years I’ve been hanging around this community. I remember him making the argument that Luka wouldn’t even average 15 a game in a postseason series against the Celtics because of Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown. I wonder how he felt when Luka lite Boston up earlier this year? Anyway I’m glad that guy didn’t make the jump over to these boards.
As far as the game goes I’m looking forward to watching Josh Green shut down one of the Nets All-Stars. The only question is which one will it be?

KD has been on a tear, 40 or more in consecutive games. Tough row to hoe, but we have Super Sub THJ, he needs to continue his hot shooting for them to have a chance, and they need to keep Kyrie, Harris, and Shamet in check, ( if they play) You never know nowadays. KD usually gets his. Should be a fun game if both teams are making shots.
