Who was the player of the game who elevated his game above normal to help the team win?
Tough call with Timmys hot shooting, but I’m gonna go with the Green for the energy he brought and big swing in the game story he brought with him. Honorable mention to Dwight who also defended well and really helped to shift things in our favor.
THJ was the saviour, imho.

Hardaway deserves it on individual effort. But I'd like to nominate the entire group of DFS, Powell, and Green.

The defensive trio only scored 23 points combined. But as a group they finished with 18 rebounds, 9 assists, 6 steals, 3 blocks, and an impressive +58. That's what effective team defense and ball movement looks like.

And if Green can keep up his performance today and join the conversation with the other two traditional glue guys more regularly, he's going to be a really good player in Dallas for a long time. Well done.
Timofy

Green gives me hope he can help the team this year.  Mavs look different when he, DP and DFS are flying around.
Breakout performance from Green, who did more than just provide energy tonight. Great and decisive passing, some timely, confident cuts, and some actual defensive skill was demonstrated. I felt like Carlisle sent Richardson a not so subtle message at the start of the 2nd half.

DFS was great, as usual, and Powell has sneakily become a consistent positive again. Not one of WCS's best games of the year, but far from his worst. I thought he used his length for the power of good at times.

Definitely not one of Luka's best efforts, as those long, athletic traps gave him some issues, especially early. Still, even a sub-par Luka game is pretty amazing.

Ultimately, I had to vote for the Tim Show, since it's my office's Presidentially mandated mission.
On a second thought, can I change my vote from THJ to Luka? He didn't get a T and that is not easy to accomplish!
I will give it to the the only Josh remaining in next year's roster

And btw, to the THJ haters, In Yo Face!
Dwight looking Trix-like with that 7/10/3/3/2 stat line.

Super impressed with Jalen and Dorian too.

But Tim for the wim. Can we please put Senior on staff when we resign Junior this June? Er, July.

Exactly why I voted Green...

Mavs looked like garbage until he came in and then we proceeded to stomp their ass...

Ya, Green is trash, so that stat line is the biggest improvement of any of the players! Esp minutes!
Timmy can come back next year (still at a pay cut, of course) if he keeps this stuff up. I'd say his absence had a lot to do with our last loss to the Kings. Not enough offensive firepower.

Gotta be Green, with THJ second. Luka with a subpar performance still barely missed a triple double, and would have had one if he had played the fourth. Good to keep his minutes low in a win though.

I was resistant before tonight to replace Richardson with Green. Even though Richardson's offense isn't great, Greens's has been nonexistent.

But Green showed he can have a huge impact on the game with very little offense. If he could get his three ball even up to Richardson's low standard (31%) there would be no reason to play Richardson at all, except maybe in a bench role.
THJ had a good night.  I wouldn't mind having him back on the team...at a lower price.  JG got more minutes and actually changed the game.  Just think what might have happened had he got more minutes earlier in the season. Ah...dreams.  The Mavs are rounding into a fairly good "Team".    Josh Green gets my Dirkie.
