There’s just something wrong about the Knicks being above 0.500, we should really help them towards fixing that problem. Must win game.
@"meistermatze" did a wonderful job in the Mavs/Grizzlies thread analysing the chemistry between Luka and KP, and it’s something I’m surprised doesn’t get talked about more around here...

Just to add to what he said, it’s become painfully obvious that Luka is clearly sending the message “You get a shot when I say you get a shot,” and it’s actually the number one thing I pay attention to during the games now, and to the point that I almost breathe a sigh of relief when Luka passes to KP...

Watching the way Luka enthusiastically gets Melli and Boban involved, but constantly looks off KP really makes you wonder what the hell is happening behind the scenes between them...

Let’s just hope they can find some chemistry during the stretch run and into the playoffs...

Perhaps because not everyone shares this feeling and at least personally I am very tired of this constant discussion. Especially after three consecutive games where "Luka ignoring KP" was clearly not a case to anyone watching.

Last game when Luka hit the game winner someone posted KP did not celebrate but replays showed him pointing his finger after the shot...

True, he pointed a finger upwards calmly... whilst the rest of the squad went absolutely bananas.

Act like you been there before
Just because KP does not hug or high five doesn't mean there is bad blood...

KP seems to me to be similar to an autistic person with the way he looks and acts...could be dead wrong but I am very familiar with the condition...

So? People are different and react differently.

Besides, I thought you had a problem with Luka ignoring KP. Now it looks like you have a problem with KP too. So, is Luka jealous of KP or KP jealous of Luka?
KP was late in raising his hand in asking for the ball from Luka or he wanted a replay of the shot so the Mavs would not win.

Only explanation I can see Smile

Seriously, KP is an introvert and a thinker and may not mesh with Luka personality wise but I still think they can be effective.  KP just has to acknowledge Luka will be in charge of his production for the rest of his life...

At that specific moment it was not clear if shot was on time or if it was a three pointer. So some persons rather check this kind of things before celebrating. I would act totally the same in that situation.

I hope I am not autistic Smile
Don't know if it applies to Kristaps, but not being very cheerful and overly positive is a quite common personal characteristic in Northern Europe. It might resonate with other ethnics as rude, but is just the way these societies work: no-nonsense, very direct, very pragmatic, quite unemotional.

Or how they say in parts of Germany: "Not getting scolded is enough praise".
You don't even have to go that far. He strikes me as almost stereotypically Baltic, a personality type I'm very familiar with both in its Baltic form and in the rather similar Native American stereotype that my grandfather fully embraced. Controlled, stoic, thoughtful, somewhat dour. As noted by others, not a hugger. I mean come on, we've watched Porzingis for over a year and a half, and he would have had the exact same immediate reaction if he had made that game winner--and the same later reaction, except the smile would have been a bit more awkward as he endured the other team members hugging him.

Luka's a very different personality and maybe that limits the amount of personal chemistry they'll ever have, but a lot of the tea-reading about KP on this board has come down to 'he doesn't react like I would react so something must be wrong'. Which is just silly.
Brunson interview in The Athletic, the part about team vibes.

Yeah, and it’s always about the vibes. Not to read too much into a joking phrase, but it does seem like the locker room really does have good vibes. What’s it like in there?

It’s great. Like you said, we’re definitely clicking on all cylinders right now. I think most importantly for us, we’re just finding ways to get better every time we step on the court. We’re trusting each other more and more on both sides of the ball. It’s just something that we’ve worked at and something that — I don’t want to say it’s come easy, but it looks like it’s a lot smoother now. Everything’s just flowing and not a lot of thinking. Just playing, reacting off each other and playing together.

Right after the Milwaukee game, so a week ago. Loss to Houston was just before that.
Randle with a massive triple double (15-15-15).

Thank you...please post more often if you can...

This should be pasted in every thread claiming otherwise and McMahon needs to go troll another team...

Nope you are not...it is how a typical autistic person would act IMO...but the explanations above at least let me know I was seeing the same thing but called it autism...
