The crazy thing is that the Knicks actually have cap space and could pay him a decent contract for 2 months and also will have a ton of cap space next year.
Thought the Knicks would offer him a 3 year $45mil deal.
Maybe the new Knicks management are thinking long term or think they can get better free agents in the offseason.
