Portland seems to be our cryptonite but we have to change that. So far Mavs have been masters of adjusting and one more defensive piece is back. It would be time for Portland to not hit everything for a change...

The Mavs shot the ball really well last game until the end.   And they still couldn't get much breathing room.  In a close game, I have no confidence of the mavs out executing this Portland team.   I don't have a good feeling about tonight.  It seems like Portland just needs to stay close late, and then they make plays.   

I hope I am wrong, as usual.

Me either. I think some of the Mavs recent success might be really exposed tonight as fool's gold. I still think this team is missing some really important ingredients.

Last game of our tough 5 game stretch before things lighten up a bit. Sure would feel a lot better coming out of it 3-2 instead of 2-3. Must win game.

Crazy Prediction:  The refs will call a good game for once.

Now Mavs should start playing defense. This is nothing...

A little message to refs: we are not watching the game because of you...

We are better than Portland, denver, San Antonio and LAC. At full strength none of those teams can hang with us defensively

That was an incredible run... hate that Luka missed, but he is 8-9 from 3 going into the 4th

Portland showed two extremes. Couldn't miss first two games, can't score at all in the third.

Luka with 8 threes
Blazers team with 6 threes

In my opinion it´s gonna be 7 game series with anyone but these 3 teams. I believe, LAC, Utah and Lakers would still take Mavs out in 5 or 6 games max.

They beat Clippers for the season series (2-1), including a back-to-back game. PG playing against the Mavs got him feeling his playoff P form. Plus, unlike the bubble playoffs, Mavs got a stronger bench than before. I'm sure they can beat LAC.

Its the LAL, UTA and especially Phoenix Suns that could go to 6 games or less.

Nah, i think we can beat Suns. We were close in all 3 games, despite 2 of them being in the midst of that loosing/covid streak.

Clippers can lock Mavs down. Sure we can beat them, but not in a 7 game series. I don´t care about 2-1 regular season score. It means nothing, especially that first 50 point win.

Just my opinion though, at least we agree about LAL and Utah.
