Extremely important games. Win both and Mavs are right there with Portland. Split them and the difference remains significant, difficult to overcome with that gazillion B2B games left. Lose both and I guess Mavs will be trying their luck in the play in tournament.

Dame has been on a tear all year.  Now he gets his tag team partner back.  it would be peaches and cream if they swept both games. But realistically, they need to at least split.

FWIW, POR play NOP last night, so DAL should be more rested...in theory anyway.

I'm not sure that matters with a player of Lillard's caliber, but maybe some of the others will feel it.

These late night games are the worst. I am trying to diet, and the combo of being tired and a stressful Mavs game makes it very hard not to cheat and eat some junk during the game. I will do my part by trying to get in a quick nap, or at least drinking some extra caffeine, but the Mavs need to do their part as well. Must win game.

Dame might be my favorite non-Mav in a long time.  He is cold blooded and has Dirk-like loyalty.  

Crazy Prediction:  He misses a game winner.

In a way I am glad DFS is not available tonight, as we get to see for another game if JRich-THJ pairing can work on both sides of the court. It will be a huge defensive test for them.

You don't think Dame would still have a chip on his shoulder about the All Star starter thing...well crap.

He might have a grudge but I doubt it is with Luka.  They both talk glowingly about one another.

Luka even agreed that Dame was valid as an ASG starter, so nothing to prove here.

Man, this team asks Luka to do way too much against good teams.   

KP with an awful half on offense.   Hurried shots, not getting feet positioned when shooting, can't take advantage of matchups in the post, etc.   I think a lot of times, Dallas needs to be better getting him involved.   But I think this is on him tonight.   Make something happen.  

I am fearful Dallas cold shooting is going to cool off.  If it does, Dallas just doesn't have many plan B's.  Unless Luka is super human again.

Fun half.    It would be nice to see some better defense.   Portland is tough though.

I amazes me the way they are completely ignoring KP the last several minutes.  Freakin Rodney Hood is terrible defensively....they are putting thier 3rd or 4th defender on our second best man and he's getting frozen out for looooonnng stretches of the game.
