Who was the player of the game who elevated his game above normal to help the team win?
This was DFS's night. Hope this guy is here to stay and play like this all season long!
Looks pretty balanced and maybe RC should get some credit.  I will vote for KP, he was available.
I will give it to DFS.   Nothing really stuck out to me during the game but guarding Harden is a beast.   Add in some other solid numbers.   Outside of a monster performance, lets give it to DFS who doesn't get a lot of love.

The most positive things was KPs performance.    I just hope that is the type of offense we see more often.   Defense was pretty good too.
DFS was great, he would deserve it. But I gave it to KP, because he played an excellent game on both sides of the floor. Doing things that make him a unicorn. If he is able to punish smaller guys like that, opponents will have to throw bigs at him, which will be even easier.

I will give it to KP, the Dirkie not that he fully deserve (because there are other worthy candidates), but the one that he needed

That was the encouraging part, for me. I have a fair amount of faith that he will figure out how to fit in with this offense eventually, but the defense is non-negotiable.

The nets helped him tonight with some bad spacing which reduced his need to cover lots of ground, but I have to give it to him – he looked much better tonight.

We were saying in the discord how we couldn’t remember the last time he was a plus in the +/-

Absolutely spot on about his offense. Tonight, he (they?) had a solution for multiple scenarios which was a welcome sight.
Was DFS responsible for Hardin’s horrible -27 +/- line in 33 minutes? It looked like it to me. His own +24 impressed me too. And 12 points on just 6 attempts is hard to argue against. Give that dude the belt AND the Dirkie.
I voted for the king, DFS. The first thing Brooklyn did on almost every possession was screen him off of Harden. This drastically affected their pace, and he found a way to stay involved after that often.

An absolutely incredible defensive performance from him.

Agree. And it has to be noted - calls that Harden gets are absolutely ridiculous.
KP DFS and Richardson all had good games tonight after a bad stretch...
DFS!
That block on Harden absolutely sealed his 2nd half. But the team D was dialed in... I hope that effort is what we will see going forward.

An inspiration for all those who don't get drafted.  Keep grinding, king.
Why isn’t there as much activity here after wins as there is after losses? Do people just need to take their frustrations out on others more than they like to share happiness with each other? At the risk of coming off a bit emo, I think that’s kind of sad.
