Who elevated his game above normal to help the team win?
Is there really any other answer?
Before the last 4 minutes would have gone with Brunson.
Because of the last minute the obvious answer is Luka.
Brunson was great again, but Luka showed who is the big Kahuna this time
Luka "Ice In His Veins" Doncic...
If only Brunson had 9 more boards.
Wow. I thought Luka appeared to be out of gas for most of the 4th qtr. For the last 4 mins, Luka penetrated 3 or 4 times,, drew the defense then passed to the open guy. Resulted in misses by our guys (including Brunson & Junior). It was the right basketball play, but it was the time for the team finisher. I believe that's what Luka was thinking when he made the shot with 15 sec left. That one was the pressure shot. We were behind and if he misses, we lose. By the time of the buzzer beater, he had gotten a dose of adrenaline, and even if he missed, we still go into OT. Great show.
It’s crazy to say, but Brunson’s sensational game wasn’t THAT much better than what I’ve started to expect from him.
At one point I was thinking the Mavs are going to blow this game. Luka is making awesome passes and creating open shots to no avail — being too deferential. And then, boom! Those last two shots to win the game were incredible.
Well...until Luka hit the last two 3 point shots I would have gone with Brunson. But, what the hell man!...that was clutch! Gotta give the Dirkie to Luka.

Until Luka hit the last two 3 point shots there wasn't going to be a Dirkie.
