Who was the player of the game that upped his game to help the team win?
Timmy
I'm going with Brunson. His playmaking ability was essential on Luka's rare offnight.

If only Timmy would have scored 6 more points.  Sad

Props to Brunson, this is the game that might have finally sold me on him.
Tough one, Brunson and JRich were both good. Gave it to THJ
THJ. But honorable mention to Dwight, who actually might have elevated his game the most. Best post D I’ve seen out of the Mavs this season. Maybe he’s actually gonna recover from that heel.
l have to give the Dirkie to JR.  Sure, THJ was essential, but he's a streaky, high volume, shotgun shooter.  And I really dislike some of his kangaroo shots.  Go figure.  DP is playing good.  I guess he earned that start.  JB is playing pretty good too.  Actually...the team played pretty good for the most part.  However, I'm not happy that they let up on the gas.  That should never happen.  And yes--overall season performance does color my perception of each player when I vote for the Dirkie.
Can I go off the board and vote Justice Winslow?  Boy, was he bad.  I know he hasn't played much in the last year and a half and this was only his second game back this year, but he was supposed to be a physical, athletic wing who would use force and play good defense.   He is not in good shape and showed no athleticism.  On offense he was a black hole and I was happy to see him launch three pointers last night.

If not him, either him or Hardaway.
