Who was the player of the game who elevated his game above normal to help the team win?
I'm gonna need more votes.
I am giving it to THJ, who singlehandedly erased the 10 point lead and injected very needed energy to the team. Brunson, WCS and Luka were all very good. Kleber and KP underperformed.
I clicked Brunson but I want to give it to Tim and Brunson.  Tim won the game but Brunson actually won the game because of Tim setting up Brunson to win the game.
Brunson for me.

I don't feel like I can bash Maxi too much because of the Covid thing. He might still be struggling healthwise.

Need to give a shoutout again to Powell. Love his energy. Just wish he was paid less.
Between Brunson and THJ. Voted THJ. Both carried the team in the 4th quarter. Tiebreaker: THJ defending Gallinari on the final possession. Cannot defend it any better without fouling.
Brunson was gold tonight
If I have to pick one, JB.

THJ got the 4th quarter run started, JB kept it going to the finish line.
All 5 options are good. All 5 deserving. Ultimately, I gave the nod to WCS for giving Carlisle a way not to play KP down the stretch, which absolutely would’ve resulted in a loss.

I groaned when I saw THJ guarding Gallo at the end, and somehow ignored the result. I would consider changing my vote to Timmy if I could. But damn, was Brunson solid.
Brunson...kept us in the game when it looked like it could slip away.  Also chipped in 4 boards and 5 assists.  THJ was great during a short stretch but with 1 board and no assists Brunson takes it for me.

I have a feeling that the locker room will be very internally pleased with Carlisle for that, with one glaring exception. Perhaps literally glaring. Too bad.

In the post game interview JB again mentioned the locker room and not playing as "individuals" anymore but as a team. There have been so MANY references to this type of thing and selfishness..... Something has been (or still is to some extent) seriously wrong in some of the dynamics among the team.
One of these guys had a 28 point triple double shooting 50%. I’m voting for him.

There is that.

We couldn’t have asked for a better Hawk to take the last shot.  Gallo was 2 of 12 and 1 came at the rim.
